With this new track "Decade", ESCALE (Jiri Blazek and Brian Ruskin) celebrate 10 years of collaborative music production. Since their first album 2012's "Walk in the Park" their method has remained the same: share loops, samples, tracks, and recorded thoughts via email and online storage, then respond, reshare, and remix. However, their style has certainly evolved over the course of several albums and EPs, especially during the ambitious 18-month"Wait For the Good Light" project, whereby new tracks were released each month to build the eponymous album.

"Decade" sounds both vintage and fresh, full of mechanical whirrs and organic purrs, layers of lively percussion, and deep sub-bass. Retro synth stabs and warm pads call from the deep, while a breath echoes in time. Insistent as well as inviting, "Decade" well represents the best of ESCALE productions - multifaceted, multigenre, always willing to explore what happens when different styles and moods combine.
