Escale: n. a stop, a port of call, a station on a journey.
Inspired by electronic music legend Underworld's year-long "Drift" series, producers Jiri Blazek and Brian Ruskin reset as ESCALE for an ambitious project & journey of releasing new tracks every month on the 29th as "The Good Light" series. The original idea of how to create a collaborative album has been changed to something more challenging, but more enjoyable, with no limits on when and how the album "Wait For the Good Light", the final product, will appear.

"The Good Light - Aniversary Sampler" celebrates one year of ESCALE releases with seven representative tracks: some entirely new, others reworkings of previous episodes' ideas, all showcasing the evolving musical style, as well as distinct, unique atmospheres, elements, and shared influences. Carefully remastered by Blazek, the tunes on this stop or station on the journey allow for pleasant retrospection of a year of creating.

ESCALE will continue the monthly release series, but the Next Phase on this journey is certain to be surprising, different, and progressive.
